Don Bosco Central School, Mannuthy, celebrated the joyous occasion of Christmas with great enthusiasm and delight. The event, titled Jingle and Mingle, was filled with moments of happiness, hope, and festive cheer, reflecting the true spirit of Christmas.
The celebration commenced with a solemn prayer. The beautifully decorated school premises, coupled with students dressed in vibrant and colorful attire, set the perfect tone for the festive day.
Rev. Fr. Shino Kalapurackal SDB, Principal of Don Bosco Central School, officially welcomed the gathering and ushered in the Christmas spirit. Our Rector and Manager, Rev. Fr. Thomas Koonan, graced the occasion with his inspiring felicitation, emphasizing the significance of Christmas as a time to share love and joy.
The vibrant choir group captivated the audience with melodious Christmas carols, creating an atmosphere of warmth and jubilation. The sound of carols resonated throughout the school, filling the surroundings with an effervescent festive spirit.
A highlight of the celebration was the enactment of the Nativity scene by the Bosconians, portraying the birth of Jesus Christ with remarkable creativity and devotion. Various other captivating performances, including Here Comes the Santa, Voices of Christmas Cheer, Merry Popper, and Jolly Jingles, added to the grandeur of the event and kept everyone enthralled.
Santa Claus, a central figure of the celebration, mingled with the students and spread joy with his lively dance to the tune of Jingle Bells. The children were visibly thrilled by his presence, which brought an extra spark of excitement to the festivities.
The festive spirit continued as students enjoyed music, dance, and merriment. A special highlight was the distribution of Christmas cake to the entire school, followed by class celebrations where students exchanged gifts with their Christmas friends.
